Security & Responsible Disclosure

Effective Date: March 17, 2026
Last Updated: March 25, 2026

Introduction

She Ventures takes the security of https://sheventures.events/ seriously.

We make reasonable efforts to protect our website, the information shared through it, and the tools we use to operate it. At the same time, no website or internet-based system can promise complete security, which is why we treat security as an ongoing responsibility. Standard vulnerability-disclosure guidance recommends giving researchers a clear reporting channel, defining scope, and setting expectations for good-faith reporting, which is the approach this page follows

How we approach security

We use reasonable measures to help protect our website and the information handled through it. Depending on the tools and services we use, this may include:

  • access controls for website administration

  • updates to platforms, plugins, or services as appropriate

  • use of reputable service providers

  • internal handling practices for sensitive information

  • monitoring and review of website issues brought to our attention

Reporting a security issue

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability or technical issue affecting our website, please report it to us in good faith by email at contact@sheventures.events.

You may also call +1 (604) 767-0312 if needed, but email is the preferred reporting method because it helps us review technical details more efficiently.

What to include in your report

To help us understand and review the issue, please include:

  • a clear description of the problem

  • the affected page or URL

  • steps to reproduce the issue

  • the potential impact

  • screenshots or supporting details, where helpful

What we ask from reporters

If you report a security issue, we ask that you:

  • act in good faith

  • avoid exploiting the issue beyond what is necessary to confirm it exists

  • do not access, change, or copy data that does not belong to you

  • do not disrupt the website or perform denial-of-service activity

  • do not use phishing, spam, or social engineering

  • do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable chance to review it

What you can expect from us

If you submit a report in good faith and provide enough information for us to assess it, we will make reasonable efforts to review the report and respond appropriately.

If the issue is confirmed and within our control, we will work to address it based on its nature, severity, and the systems involved.

Scope

This page applies to the public She Ventures website and web pages that we directly own and operate.

It does not authorize testing of third-party tools, payment processors, ticketing systems, social media platforms, or other services that we do not directly control.

Bug bounty

She Ventures does not currently offer a bug bounty or financial reward program for reported issues unless we state otherwise in writing.

Changes to this page

We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in our website, tools, or security practices. Any updates will be posted here with a revised “Last Updated” date.
